Howard Hendricks, Living by the Book Howard Hendricks, Living by the Book
Do you want to better understand how to apply God’s Word to your own life? In this study we will walk step-by-step through Dr. Howard G. Hendricks signature model for self-study: Observation, Interpretation, Application. This study will help you engage God’s Word like never before. In simple step-by-step fashion, you’ll learn how to: Observe: Let Scripture speak to you individually. Interpret: Develop the tools to properly understand biblical text. Apply: Learn how to allow Scripture to transform your life. Your experience in Scripture will never be the same. And your life will be transformed as you begin Living by the Book!
We are using the video series workbook, and as well as the classic book by Dr Hendricks and his son, William Hendricks, Living by the Book. Our sessions involve time for discussion of the homework and the video as well as sharing prayer requests.
The study began last September with the section on Observation. We will continue this winter with the remaining two sections on Interpretation and Application. We meet from 10 a.m. to noon in room 2202. Nursery is available for $5 per child per session by reservation only. The video series workbook and additional book cost approximately $30.
