LaAmistad
LaAmistad's vision is to empower Latino students to thrive in their educational, personal, and career pursuits. Our mission is to support Latino students & their families through tutoring, mentoring and programming that promotes academic, physical, and personal growth.
LaAmistad serves as a resource center for over 40 families in NW Atlanta, providing them with information on employment, health, counseling, legal and financial services, and scholarship information. We believe that strong students strengthen families and better our community.
What started as a helping hand has turned into a multi-dimensional program serving our neighbors and strengthening our community. Our students are proud of their achievements and approach their challenges with ever growing self confidence. Your inspiration and support will have a positive impact on untold numbers of children, parents, siblings and community.
