We want every ministry in our church to flourish in the rich soil of prayer. And since a praying church is made up of praying people, we want to encourage and equip you in your own life of prayer. Below you will find more information about resources and events designed to create a culture of prayer at Peachtree. Prayer request cards are available in the Sanctuary pew pockets, just outside the small Prayer Chapel on the 2nd floor, in the Prayer Room, room 3315, and in the Summit worship services on Sundays.

The Bette Eberhard Prayer Room , room 3315, is located on the 3rd floor, directly behind the Sanctuary on the South side. This room is available to give you a quiet and special place to pray and enjoy fellowship with your Heavenly Father. There are devotional books, books on prayer, and other resources in this room.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry has fleece blankets available in assorted colors to send to those who are sick or going through a difficult time. Please email Hyland Justice, for more information on the blankets and how to have one sent.

Dedication Sunday: This dedicated time of prayer takes place on the first Sunday of the year which for 2012 is Sunday, January 1. This is a time of prayer set apart to dedicate our church and all areas of ministry to God for the year.
Lenten Prayer Services: These services are held in the Wilson Chapel during Lent from 12:10pm to 1pm. The dates for 2012 are February 23, March 1, March 8, March 15, March 22, and March 29.
Easter Prayer Vigil: This vigil begins after the Maundy Thursday service and continues until 7am on Easter morning. It is held in the Wilson Chapel and is an opportunity to be a part of praying for each member of our congregation and the different areas of ministry in our church. The dates for 2012 are Thursday, April 5 – Sunday, April 8.

Thursday Noon Prayer Gatherings: These will be held in the Prayer Room, room 3315, each Thursday at noon. Please feel free to join on any Thursday.
