Greeters – The Greeter Ministry is a wonderful way to meet people and help people connect with each other. Greeters greet for about 25 minutes prior to a worship service and make a difference in welcoming all to Peachtree. Typically greeters serve 2 Sundays per month. LaAmistad – Peachtree’s own LaAmistad ministry serves Latino students and their families in our neighborhood primarily through tutoring and mentoring programs at Peachtree. Tutors for students are needed Monday through Thursday afternoons and Sunday afternoons. Tutors for parents in our ESL classes are needed on Wednesday evenings. Media Ministry – Help behind the scenes on Sunday mornings! Our media volunteers work together as a team to produce the live web stream of services on Sunday mornings, as well as the weekly television broadcasts seen on AIB. We will train you to operate a camera and other production equipment. The time commitment is a minimum of one Sanctuary worship service once a month. Sanctuary Saints – Sanctuary Saints need your help! Sanctuary Saints are volunteers who stock and maintain all the literature in the Sanctuary pews. It only requires one hour a month, and individuals can make their own schedules. If you are interested in helping in this important behind-the-scenes role, please contact Anne McClurkin at 404-233-6952.
Ushers – Would you be interested in becoming part of our Sanctuary Services Usher Ministry? Ushering is great opportunity to welcome people to worship, and meet and greet people. You can serve at 8:45, 10 or 11:15 in the Sanctuary, once a month or as often as suits your schedule. We welcome you to serve with us! Wedding Guild – The Wedding Guild is a volunteer guild involved in planning and implementing the perfect wedding ceremony hosted by Peachtree Presbyterian Church. Wedding Guild volunteers work with the Peachtree Wedding Coordinator and the wedding party to create a beautiful day for the Peachtree bride and groom! The time commitment is a minimum of 3 weddings per year and the volunteer attends the rehearsal, attends the wedding itself and is involved in some pre-planning.
