Dig out your work gloves and come JOIN US
as we begin construction on Peachtree's House #150 on March 8th, 2014.

The build schedule will look something like this:
Day 1 (March 8): Install floor decking and joists, build walls, clear crawlspace, start front porch
Day 2 (March 15): Install windows, deck and felt roof, interior framing, build side porch, begin siding
Day 3 (March 22): Shingle roof, insulate walls and ceiling, continue siding and begin caulking FULL
Day 4 (March 29): Finish siding and caulking, begin interior and exterior painting
Day 5 (April 5): Continue painting, install interior trim, cabinets and countertops, soffit and fascia
Day 6 (April 12): Finish painting, soffit and fascia, and porch, install hardware
Day 7 (April 26): Clean house interior, landscape, complete miscellaneous items, DEDICATION

VERY IMPORTANT! Please plan to be on-site promptly at 8am and plan to work through 4pm. Habitat for Humanity depends on their volunteers to work a full day in order to plan their build schedule accordingly. Also, please note that Habitat's construction policy states that due to safety concerns "no one under the age of 16 is allowed on site." Volunteers ages 16 and 17 are welcome, but will be excluded from certain activities, and must have a parent or guardian sign their Release and Waiver of Liability.
