One of the greatest opportunities for a child to grow in faith and
learn to give of themselves is to join a choir or handbell group. As
members of the Children’s Music at Peachtree, our kids grow in
God’s word and give of themselves by singing and playing music, to
glorify Him!
Music provides a child with…
- singing and musical skills
- listening skills
- self-discipline
- group cooperation and social skills; a community focus,
developing what may be life-long friendships
- leadership experiences
- appropriate models for behavior in a community
- a deeper understanding of worship
In the world of nature, birds’ songs are like their colorful feathers
- - a bird sings his best to show how good and admirable HE is. In
the body of Christ, we make our best music to show how good
God is. Please contact Cindy Gregg in the Music Department, 404-
842-5846 or to sign-up your child for a
fabulous experience with Children’s Music at Peachtree!
The Shepherd Staff of the Children’s Choirs at Peachtree is - -
YOU! the parents of the children.
At rehearsals, during Sunday worship, and at special events, you
provide guidance for our children in musical group activities. You
are the helpers for our directors, so they are free to teach the
children musical skills.
We need each of you to sign up for one calendar month of the year
(September - April) with one of the following areas:
- Cherub Choirs (need 6-8 each Wednesday night)
- Praise Singers (need 1 each Wednesday night)
- Attendance greeters for Cherubs (need 2 each Wednesday night)
