What an opportunity to server! More than 2,800 children ten and under are part
of the Peachtree family. Use your gifts of help, hospitality,
shepherding, leadership, encouragement, teaching, and faith, on Sunday or
during the week, to support God's work of changing the hearts and impacting the
lives of our children.
As a Children's Ministry leader, you will attend trainings in August and meet
the Children's staff and other leaders. You'll learn more about your role and
receive this year's curriculum materials. Our goal is to equip and empower you
as you serve in our ministry.

Welcome Team/Greeter
|
Meet, greet, and communicate! Welcome and assist members and guests with
registrations, sign-in/out procedures, and transitioning children into their
care room.
|
Classroom Teacher
|
Connect, guide, and grow! Work with a co-teacher for an hour on Sunday
morning, sharing the Biblical story and related learning activities with a
group of our young children and building relationships with the children and
their families.
|
Worship Team
|
Sing, act, and excite! Use your dramatic or musical interest to bring
the lessons out of the book and into kids' hearts by putting the Word into
action and song.
|
Substitute Teacher
|
Answer, prepare, and share! Lead a group of our young children when
teachers must be absent.
|
Welcome Team/Greeter
|
Meet, greet, and communicate! Welcome and assist members and guests with
registration and sign-in/out procedures.
|
Pond Assistant
|
Assist, assist, assist! Help in preschool classrooms and with
organizational tasks as requested.
|
Tech Team
|
Amplify, illuminate, project!
Support the large group experience using
your technology skills in lighting,
sound, power point, and other areas. |
Small Group Leaders
|
Connect, guide, and grow! Develop relationships with kids by praying,
listening, and learning. Guide them through weekly activities that tie
Bible-based lessons to their lives.

Large Group Teacher/Drama Team
|
Teach, act, and excite! Use your dramatic or teaching interest to bring
the lessons out of the book and into kids' hearts by putting the Word into
action.

Materials Prep Team
| Collect, copy, and collate! Gather,
prepare, and organize supplies for Sunday lessons. (weekday option)

Music Team
|
Praise, sing, and lead! Join our KidJam team as they lead our kids in
worship or share your musical gifts as a featured performer.
|
Hospitality/Welcome Team
|
Meet, greet, and seat! Welcome and register new families, assist kids
and families, and take attendance.
|
Small Group Substitute
|
Go, go, go! Fill infrequent, last-minute absences from the above roles -
great for those who travel or can't commit to a regular schedule!
|
Special Needs Buddy
|
Connect, support, facilitate! Work one-on-one with a child with special
needs, facilitating his/her participation in Sunday morning programs and
building a relationship with the child and family.
|
Pastoral Care to Children and their Families
|
Support, assist, and encourage! Provide support to families who are
experiencing changes or transitions.
|
