Jim Balkcom, a native of Atlanta, attended The Georgia Institute
of Technology before his appointment to The United States Military Academy. He graduated from
West Point in 1967 and served in the United States Army in Germany and Vietnam receiving awards
including the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster. Jim has a MBA from Harvard University. He was
the Owner and President of Humminbird from 1976-1995 and is currently the founding and operating
partner of Council Ventures as well as the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for Georgia. Jim has served on the Worklife Ministry team and on the my95 initiative leadership team. He also has served as a deacon in his former church in Alabama. Jim has been married to Linda for 41 years and they have two children and four grandchildren.

Drew Barnette has attended
Peachtree since 2003 and became a member in 2007. Drew is currently the
president of the New Class and has led a Bible study for two years at
Peachtree. Drew has been a volunteer on the 11:05 host team; he is actively
involved in the SafeHouse Outreach Ministry and has participated in both
young adult mission trips to Guatemala and Honduras. Drew graduated from
the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 with a degree in
Business Administration. He is currently an Associate at Eastdil Secured,
a commercial real estate investment bank.

Indy Cesari, a New York native, has lived in Atlanta since 1982.
Since this time, she and her husband, Steve, have been members of Peachtree
Presbyterian Church. Their four children, Courtney,25; Stefany,23; Whitney,22;
and Matthew, 21, are all members of the church as well. Indy is a Doctor of
Speech and Language Pathology and conducts a private practice in the Atlanta
area. She is greatly involved at Peachtree as a member of the advisory board
and a small group leader for Women’s Community Bible Study and as the speech
pathologist on staff at the Preschool. In the community, Indy serves on the
board of the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children and is an active board
member of Pro-Athletes Outreach.

Lisa Dempster - Lisa has been an active member of Peachtree since 1983 and
has served two previous terms on Session. She and her husband, Hazen, met at Peachtree
and were married here in 1989. They have three daughters, Sarah (16), Katie (14), and
Amy (8). Lisa has served in various capacities through the years on the Christian
Education Committee, Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Sacraments Committee, and
Personnel Committee. She has also been an active volunteer in the community and through
her children’s schools, Marist and Mt. Vernon Presbyterian School. She is very excited
to begin a third term on Session and be a part of the great things God has in store for
Peachtree!

Dr. Nancy Gallups, a board certified pediatrician from McDonough, Georgia, was
raised in the Timberridge Presbyterian Church community. Her forebearers were some of
the earliest settlers of Henry County and formed one of the first Presbyterian churches.
Nancy is a graduate of Woodward Academy, and today she serves on their Board of Governors.
Nancy attended Emory College and Emory University School of Medicine and completed her
residency in pediatrics at Emory as well. She was the founding member of North Point
Pediatrics. In 2005, after 10 years of private practice, Nancy decided to stay home to
raise her two young boys, Daniel and Mark. Nancy and her husband Jeffrey are active members
of the Atlanta community and are involved in supporting many community charities. In 2005,
Nancy was appointed to the board of Life Gate Counseling Center at Peachtree where she has
chaired the development committee.

Andrew Hamilton is a ruling elder at Peachtree Presbyterian Church where he has
taught Sunday School since 1981. He is also on the Board of Directors of Covenant House
Georgia and a past general counsel for Interfaith, Inc. Andrew also served in the United
States Marine Corp, from 1966 until 1972. He has more than 40 years as an attorney and has
dozens of landmark appellate decisions successfully establishing precedent for the benefit
of businesses and insurers throughout Georgia. As a founding partner at Hamilton, Westby,
Antonowich & Anderson, Mr. Hamilton represents manufacturers and employers in areas involving
toxic torts, employee benefits and workers’ compensation. Mr. Hamilton has served as the
Adjunct Professor of Law at Emory University School of Law and is a faculty member at the
National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He was a past Editor of the Georgia Defense Law
Association Journal.

Charlie Heard joined Peachtree with his wife Carla in 1985. Charlie is a native of
Macon, Ga. and attended the University of Georgia. Charlie has served a previous term on
the Session and served in Community and Global ministries. He led our first mission trip
into Costa Rica and is actively engaged with our global partnership there. He is a founding
member of the Christ Connection Sunday school class and past President. Charlie and Carla
have three daughters Curry (18), Mia (16) and Isabelle (12).

Sally Hinkle, a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church since 1976, has
previously served on the Session as a member of the Administration Committee, as Chairman of
the Education Committee, Chairman of the Community Concerns Committee and Chairman of the
Nominating Committee. She is a Bethel Bible Series instructor, a Stephen Minister, an adult
Sunday School teacher and a Women of the Church Bible Moderator. She was instrumental in
beginning Peachtree’s Habitat for Humanity program and in the writing of the Core Curriculum
courses. She was named Adult Sunday School Teacher of the Year in 1996. Sally is currently
serving on the Benevolence Committee and tutors second graders with the LaAmistad Program.
She is a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class. Sally’s community involvement includes
service as a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, the Board of Trustees of the
Southeastern Horticultural Society and the Executive Committee of the Southeastern Flower
Show. She and her husband Jim, an anesthesiologist, have 3 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren,
all of whom reside in the Atlanta area.

Steve Ike, a native of Athens Georgia (and UGA graduate) was a member of the Athens
First Presbyterian Church where he was a Deacon, Youth Advisor and Sunday School leader. He
also served on the N.E. GA Presbytery Outreach Committee. Steve joined Peachtree in 1990 and
is married to Nancy. They have two children (Greyson and
Amelia) who are active in the youth programs. Steve and Nancy have served as a host family
for Childspring International and are active in several outreach projects. Steve and Nancy
are members of Partners in Faith. He has served as a Sunday School president, member of the
Elder Nominating Committee and Adult Education Committee. Steve is in product marketing with
Avaya and serves as the Southeast Region Contact Center Applications Specialist.

Stiles Kellett, Jr. has been a member of Peachtree since 1972. He is a native Atlantan
and a graduate of the University of Georgia. This will be his third term on the Session. Stiles
and his wife, Carol, have two grown children and four grandchildren. Both of his children
(Stiles III and Kappy deButts) are members of Peachtree. During his previous terms, Stiles was
involved in various committees, the most recent being the Personnel Committee.

Kristin Lubniewski has been a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church for more than 10
years. As a member of the Evangelism Committee, she serves as a Shepherd Captain for Exploring
Peachtree and volunteers at Visitor’s/New Member’s dinners. She also attends various Bible
study classes throughout the year. Kristin graduated from Georgia Southern University with a
bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and later received a master’s degree in
administration. She has been a teacher for 16 years, and is currently teaching second grade
at Teasley Elementary in Cobb County.

Kelly Marshall joined Peachtree in 2004 with her husband, Tigger. They
are native Atlantans and high school sweethearts. Following an eight year marketing career
with a local advertising agency, Kelly is blessed to be home full time with their two sons,
Drew (3) and Davis (1). Together Kelly and Tigger have served as co-presidents of the
Outfitters Sunday school class and led a couples small group. Kelly is a preschool Sunday
school teacher, a VBS volunteer, welcomes new babies to the church family through the Pastoral
Care committee and serves on the Peachtree MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Steering Committee.

Robert Mason joined Peachtree in 2005. He is a Stephen Minister and an active member
of The Commitments Sunday school class. Robert has been married to Shannon Mason for 11
years and has two children, Meredith (3) and Ben (1). Robert has worked in the commercial
real estate industry for 14 years with CB Richard Ellis, Hines and Lincoln Property Company
and has recently started his own real estate investment and consulting firm, Resurgens
Realty. Robert graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BS in Psychology and earned
an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is an avid runner,
and enjoys golf, reading and travel.

Willa McGimsey - Willa is a native of Seneca, South Carolina and is a graduate of Clemson
University. She married Charlie in 1993. They have one son, Myers (25). She retired from
Delta Air Lines in 2005 following twenty-seven years in In-Flight Service and Flight Attendant
Training. She has been a member of Peachtree for fifteen years and has been a member of the
Faithmates Sunday School Class. Willa and Charlie were Presidents of Faithmates in 2003. She
served as Chairperson for The Gift Goes On in 2006. She is on the Advisory Board for the
Women’s Community Bible Study and has been a facilitator for WCBS for thirteen years. She
has served one previous term on session and served on the Hospitality Committee.

Robert Miller has been attending Peachtree Presbyterian Church with his wife, Meri,
for more than 10 years. They reside in Dunwoody with their three daughters: Summer (9),
Katie (7) and Abigail (5)-- all baptized at Peachtree. He received his bachelor¹s degree
from Purdue University and a masters degree in real estate from Georgia State University.
Robert is President of The Miller Group, his own real estates investment and property
management company. As a small business owner, Robert sees his company (employees, customers,
investors, bankers, vendors and all the people they touch) as his primary ministry calling.
He is committed to redefining the LandlordTenant relationship by providing programs by
which landlords can show they truly care for their tenants by modeling Jesus Christ¹s
servant-leadership example, living out and sharing faith in the marketplace. Robert has also
been actively involved in the leadership of his Sunday school class, Iron Men and Peachtree's
my95 workplace ministry.

Beth Robertson has been a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church since 1985. She
grew up in Coral Gables, Fla., and has been a lifelong Presbyterian. She graduated from
the University of Georgia with a degree in journalism. Beth is an active volunteer in
both of her children’s schools and parent councils. She also is very involved in her Sandy
Springs community. Beth and her husband are members and past Presidents of Partners in Faith
Sunday school class. While her children were in elementary school, she taught Sunday School
for 10 years. She has also served on Peachtree’s Community Concerns Committee. Beth is
married to David, and they have two sons, David, 17, and Charlie,15. Her hobbies are tennis,
reading and watching her sons’ sports teams.

Boynton Smith has been a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church since 1998. He is
actively involved with Ironmen and the Men’s Ministry leadership team and has served as a small
group leader and is a member of the Commitments Sunday School class. Boynton serves on the
advisory board of Shepherd Center and as volunteered with Buckhead Christian Ministries. He
is a Senior Vice President with McGriff, Seibels & Williams, and an insurance brokerage firm.
Boynton and his wife Elizabeth have two young daughters, Adair and Amelia.

Bill Sweatt - Bill was raised in Decatur, Georgia, where he and his family were members
of the Decatur First United Methodist Church. He attended Druid Hills High School and gradated
from Georgia State University. After 21 years in the banking and mortgage industry, he has
operated his own office paper recycling business for the past 14 years. After meeting Brenda
in 1991, Bill began attending Peachtree and joined the church the following year. They both
were active in the singles program and each served as president of a Sunday School class.
They married in 1994 and are currently leaders in the Stephen Ministry program, Shepherds
for Exploring Peachtree and telephone first time visitors for the Andrew Ministry. Bill
served as an Elder in the Class of 2005, as a member of an Elder nominating committee and
currently serves with the Sacraments Committee.

Betty Adams Williams has been a very active Peachtree member since 1980 and has served
on various committees, including the Building Committee. Betty is a native Atlantan. She is
married to James B. William, retired Chairman of Sun Trust Banks. They have three married
children and five grandchildren.

Joseph Wilson, Jr. - Joe Wilson joined Peachtree in June of 1990 with his wife, Sharon. They have
two daughters, Katie and Grace. Joe is a cardiologist at St. Joseph’s Hospital and has served
as the Medical Director for the Peachtree Road Race since 1987. This is his second time to
serve on Session. Joe and Sharon have also served as Co-Chairs of the Stewardship Campaign.
Together they have taught adult classes on the ministry of the Holy Spirit and on prayer.
Joe served on the Outreach Foundation Board of Directors for six years. During this time, the
family made two mission trips to Uganda.
