Confirmation is designed to give students an opportunity to deepen and confirm their faith in Jesus Christ, learn the basic theology of the Christian faith, and learn what it means to identify with the Presbyterian Church family. Each participant will be asked to articulate their belief in Jesus Christ in a written “faith statement”, and will be given an opportunity to join the family of faith at Peachtree.
You may also be wondering, who is Confirmation class for? It is for every teenager (8th-12th grade) who has a desire to participate. It is our prayer that this class is a faith-building experience in the life of each student who participates.
If it is your desire to grow deeper in your understanding of Jesus Christ and the Presbyterian Church, to formally profess your faith in Jesus Christ, and to join Peachtree Presbyterian Church, then Confirmation is the right thing for you. We hope you will join us for a time of faith exploration.
This year we will charge a fee of $75 as a part of the registration process. The fee covers the retreat, confirmation party, and family celebration breakfast. In the past we charged separately for each of these, but we hope this will be easier and more efficient. You will be prompted to pay this fee at the end of the registration process.
