The Peachtree MOPS chapter exists to walk beside mothers of preschoolers as we grow together as women, mothers, and friends. We embrace the MOPS International mission to:
Encourage Equip Develop mothers of infants through kindergarten-aged children to realize their potential as women, mothers, and leaders in the name of Jesus Christ
Peachtree MOPS offers fellowship with other mothers of all ages and stages, light snacks, small group discussions, and presentations from noted speakers. Members will be supported with resources carefully selected to encourage growth as women, mothers, wives, and friends. For the 2009-2010 season, we will present the MOPS theme “Together on Planet Mom” with speakers and conversation topics geared toward providing realistic, actionable ways to develop our relationships and be great moms.
Peachtree MOPS welcomes women from throughout the community. You do not need to be a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church to join Peachtree MOPS.
Peachtree MOPS offers two opportunities for moms to meet:
Tuesday Morning MOPS • This group meets from September through May, twice per month on the first and third Tuesday of the month. • Each month will feature one speaker and one week of guided discussion, fellowship and philanthropy. • Meetings begin with breakfast at 9:30, then run from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday Evening MOPS • This group meets throughout the whole year, once per month on the third Wednesday evening of the month. • Each month will feature a short presentation by a speaker, guided discussion and fellowship. • Meetings run from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. and offer coffee and light desserts.
Please watch for information on meeting locations for the 2009-2010 season.
