Welcome to Peachtree MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
The Peachtree MOPS chapter exists to walk beside mothers of preschoolers as we grow together as women, mothers, and friends. We embrace the MOPS International mission to:

Develop mothers of infants through kindergarten-aged children to realize their potential as women, mothers, and leaders in the name of Jesus Christ
Peachtree MOPS offers fellowship with other mothers of all ages and stages, light breakfast, small group discussions, and presentations from noted speakers. Members will be supported with resources carefully selected to encourage growth as women, mothers, wives, and friends. This year, we will explore the MOPS International theme, "Adventures in Mothering," with speakers and conversation topics geared toward providing realistic, actionable ways for being great moms to our kids.
Peachtree MOPS welcomes women from throughout the community. You do not need to be a member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church to join Peachtree MOPS.
Peachtree MOPS meets every first and third Tuesday of the month through May from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. in The Lodge. Fall registration has closed, and we will offer a second registration at the start of 2009. Visitors are welcome twice, after which they will be asked to register in the following open registration period. January registration will be prorated at $30. That small fee goes toward your MOPS International membership, as well as programming for our chapter.
Infants are welcome in the meetings, and limited childcare is available on site. To inquire about available childcare space, please contact Jennifer Jernstedt at as soon as possible with the names, ages, and mobility level of your children. MOPS members registering children for nursery care will be asked to pay a one-time $15 registration fee that will be applied to the curriculum and activities our wonderful caregivers will offer. Please contact Jennifer by the Wednesday prior to the session you would like to attend.
We are currently assessing interest in a Wednesday evening MOPS offering, to be added to our regular Tuesday morning sessions. Wednesday night MOPS would begin in January and run through May. Meetings would occur once per month, and would run from 7:00-8:30 p.m. If you are interested in more information or in participating in this offering, please contact Rachelle Kuramoto or Kelly Marshall.

Manna for Moms—Spiritual Food for Moms of Young Children
Peachtree MOPS invites its members, along with any other mothers of infants through preschoolers, to join a Bible study on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, from 10 – 11:20 a.m. in Room 2202. We will discover together the “big picture” of the Bible as we learn who God is and what he has done and is doing in his world. We’ll also study in depth and reflect on various Bible passages as we seek to hear what God is saying as he calls us to follow Jesus.
